Gifts of Land

Donations of buildable land are welcome and can have an immediate and direct impact on our ability to build in the NW Corner. If you can help, we’d like to talk to you. Donate a Car

Car donations can help a family within your local community build a house and the hope of a better life! Donate your old car to HFH of NW CT and help fund a new, affordable home! Your car, boat, camper or truck might just help a family build the home of their dreams. Through a partnership with Cars for Homes, Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Connecticut takes your vehicle, old or new, running or not, and uses the proceeds to help build new homes. Plus, when you donate your car, your vehicle donation may be eligible for tax deduction purposes if you itemize. (Consult the IRS or your tax adviser for details.) Planned Giving

Since 1991, Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Connecticut has been working in partnership with families price out of the housing market, providing them with the opportunity to lift themselves into a higher standard of living. Since then, we’ve seen how our mission has touched those involved and we’re honored to have the sustained support of so many donors and volunteers in the NW corner community. Planned giving is an important part of helping us continue to grow. As you plan for your future and the safety of those you love, please consider continuing to support Habitat’s home building ministry after your lifetime through our planned giving options. Stock Transfers

LaBonne’s Epicure Receipts

If you shop at LaBonne’s Epicure, 22 Academy Street in Salisbury, please save your register receipts and mail them to: Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Connecticut, P. O. Box 1, Salisbury, CT 06068. Our local affiliate will receive 1/2 percent of those receipts.
