breaking news

Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Connecticut regretfully passes on sad news to our community.

Judith Becker, our long time Board member and Secretary has succumbed to her battle with cancer.

In memory of our friend and colleague, Habitat will establish the Judith Becker Habitat Landscape Fund.  Its purpose will be to insure that Judith’s vision of verdant landscapes will be an element of all Habitat homes.  Donations are gratefully accepted so to facilitate Judith’s wishes for plantings at the Habitat homes.

Thanks to all the volunteers and supporters who helped to make the 28th Annual Giant Tag Sale a success!  This is how we build homes and community!
